About John

Contact

Since the 1960s, I have been involved in the fields of health and wellbeing, in a variety of forms. I have worked in environmental and public health for local and state governments, in Queensland and the UK.
For 10 of those years, as a university lecturer I taught undergraduate courses in environmental health and nursing subjects and postgraduate courses in occupational health and safety.

I hold three professional diplomas in public health, from the Royal Society of Health and the Royal Institute of Public Health and Hygiene. My university qualifications include a science degree majoring in health and pollution and postgraduate qualifications in occupational health and safety.

My natural therapy educational journey has been varied and stimulating. I am a fully qualified Registered Bowen Therapist. I am an internationally Certified BodyTalk Practitioner and Certified PaRama BodyTalk Practitioner, having completed a special postgraduate BodyTalk course. I have also undertaken studies in combined acupressure/massage. My reiki studies have been completed to Master level.

I hold current qualifications in First Aid, and am a Justice of the Peace (Qualified)
