You would be amazed at how small the necessary changes are to bring about real success in life enrichment. We just need a little guidance and assistance to bring about those changes and sustain the new success factors to continue to be fulfilled – a whole person.

The Total Wellness Program
 

 

A life of wellness is characterised by balance in all aspects of our being. This view reflects perfectly the opinion of the World Health Organisation, a Division of the United Nations, which developed in 1948 its definition of ‘ health ', which you will find on my Home Page. Without that balance, there can be no genuine health or wellbeing.

 

However, with the cracking pace of modern life and all the stress that entails, it is almost impossible to find that elusive healthy ‘balance' in all aspects of our lives.

 

The Total Wellness Program effectively addresses that problem and ensures that participants regain control of their lives. It is an investment in your NOW and your FUTURE – possibly the best investment you will ever make.

 

What is the basic philosophy behind the Total Wellness Program – what underpins it?

 

It is modelled on the traditional Chinese village doctor concept. Those local practitioners were only paid when the residents were well – they went hungry when villagers were sick! Thus they had a strong vested interest in village ‘wellness' rather than ‘sickness'. My program is similar. If a participant is unwell during a certain period after completion of the Total Wellness Program, I provide healing sessions totally free of charge . That's a fair indication I believe of how life-transforming the Total Wellness Program really is!

 

Why am I claiming that The Total Wellness Program is unique?

 

Well, in my experience most personal development programs or Employee Assistance Programs are either very theoretical or only focus on developing certain aspects of our lives, but not the totality . Our total being must be in balance to make real progress towards aliveness, vitality, joy …indeed ‘wholeness', so that we may reach our full potential .

 

Don't you agree that there's something really sad about seeing someone, especially someone you love, not reaching their full potential when you know they have the talent to do so, but just need a little guidance and support.

 

So, what do you get in The Total Wellness Program?

 

Here are the nuts and bolts of why I'm claiming that it's unique .

 

  1. After initial briefings, we commence with a full-day workshop addressing life's big issues, centred on physical, social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing . (‘Spiritual' in the sense of ‘who are we really', and nothing to do with organised religion.)

    Topics covered will include–
    • Life strategies, stress management, prioritization, goal setting, maintaining motivation towards success;
    • Fitness and physical activity;
    • Nutrition issues;
    • Relaxation and meditation;
    • And much more.

  2. Fortnightly treatment sessions , over a period of six months, employing one or more of the various modalities that I offer in my clinic. This is a great way of addressing current healing issues that you may have, eg. stress release, so that you will be in an optimum state to bring about the transformations in your life that you have set as your goals. These sessions will not only maintain balance in your body/mind but also deal swiftly with any new healing issues that may arise for you, generated through the many stresses present in our lives.

  3. Regular progress reviews with honest feedback, through a mentoring process so that your progress is sustained and on track.

  4. Three free healing sessions within a three month period after completion of the Total Wellness Program will be provided, should you succumb to an illness or injury or experience deterioration of your wellbeing through stress or other emotional causes.

  5. The price charged for the Total Wellness Program reflects a substantial discount over the usual fees for standard healing sessions!

In addition to the comprehensive workshop manual and resource book, you will be provided with valuable tests to determine stressors in your life, and your responses – and a test of your personality type to give you some understanding of why you interact with others the way you do. Plus there will be some mystery gifts to assist in physical activity development!

The Corporate Total Wellness Program
 

 

Extensive scientific and social research in Australia and around the world has demonstrated beyond a shadow of doubt the major benefits to all concerned (i.e. employees and employers) when staff are healthy and happy. Accordingly, numerous Employee Assistance Programs have been developed and implemented worldwide. It's rather a pity that many of them are one-dimensional, and appear to target only one or perhaps two issues – eg. fitness or relaxation. While these are laudable, they could be so much better by being comprehensive – and addressing a wider range of wellbeing issues.

 

Did you know that 6 in 10 adult Australians have been shown to suffer from stress in recent research? There are obviously many different causes for that stress, but much of it is generated through workplace stressors. Further, we can't really divorce our home life from our working life, try as we may. If there are stressful influences in our lives created away from work, then we can't just dump them at the office or factory door when we arrive for work. They come with us, and continue to have a negative impact on our performance until they are resolved.

 

The benefits of programs like The Corporate Total Wellness Program are well documented, real and substantial:

However, there are two substantial differences –

  1. There are several options as to how the program may be offered in a workplace, depending on the degree of involvement of the management. For example, it may be offered totally in work hours, including use of the premises if suitable. Many other permutations are available, such as where management pays for the program and staff have their sessions in their own time. Many other options are available to suit both management and staff at a given corporation.

  2. Discounts may be offered, which acknowledge the degree to which management pays for the full program, thus reflecting both their genuine commitment to their employees' wellbeing and their understanding of the real and substantial benefits the corporation will reap.
